Background Information:
The subject lands are located at the western edge of the Quarry Park development withinthe community of Douglasdale/glen. The proposed Outline Plan & Land Use Amendment application consists of two sites received land use approval. The proposal is for R-1 single-detached dwellings on one site and DC Direct Control to accommodate various low to medium density residential unit types on the other. The primary objective of the proposal is to change the residential unit mix possibilities on the two sites. If adopted, there would be a nominal decrease in density, however, the proposal still satisfies density policies.
