This land use application in the community of Whitehorn proposes the redesignation of a 0.04 hectare residential parcel from its existing Residential – Contextual One Dwelling (R-C1) District designation to a Residential – Contextual One Dwelling (R-C1s) District designation to allow for a secondary suite as an additional use. The site currently contains a one storey single detached dwelling and is located approximately 660 meters walking distance from the Whitehorn LRT Station located on 36 Street NE.
ADOPT, Moved by Alderman R. Jones, Seconded by Alderman J. Mar, that the Calgary Planning Commission Recommendations contained in Report CPC2011-045 be adopted, as follows:
1. ADOPT the proposed redesignation of 0.04 hectares ± (0.11 acres ±) located at 4 Whitefield Close NE (Plan 7910915, Block 11, Lot 89) from Residential – Contextual One Dwelling (R-C1) District to Residential – Contextual One Dwelling (R-C1s) District, in accordance with the Corporate Planning Applications Group recommendation; and
2. Give three readings to the proposed Bylaw 33D2011.
